This Woman Will Soar

I still remember the times we shared

The times we laughed, the times you cared.

Then came the day when you walked away,

I felt neglected, abandoned, the hurt still remains to this day.

There are the times when I wish you would hold me tight

There are times I wish I could hurt you with all of my might.

My love for you will never change inside of me,

But your grip on my worth I can no longer see.

I hate you, I love you for all that you are,

Remember I will forever be you daughter no matter how far.

You taught me how to move on and to let go,

To see healing and clarity and to truly grow.

Now I have found the love of my life and so much more

I release you my father, this woman will soar!
